Eyebrow Shape

Eyebrow grooming treatment is massive hit with celebrities; this beauty treatment aims to create flawless, structured, definied shape on even the fairest, straggliest and unruly of eyebrows.

It’s amazing what a difference a nice pair of shapely eyebrows can make to the structure of the face. Having neat, defined eyebrows frames the eyes, boosts facial symmetry and creates anattractive look with a more youthful face.

You are advised to redo the treatment once every 4 to 6 weeks.

Eyebrow Tinting Bouremouth

Eyebrow tint is a form of semi-permanent hair-dye formulated specifically for use on the eyebrows. Pale, translucent hairs can make the eyebrows look thin and straggly. Tinting these hairs could reveal neat, shapely eyebrows you never even knew were there.

Even though the thickness and denseness of your eyebrow hair can of course not be changed in the tinting session alone, the darker colour will make them appear naturally thicker. You should remember that your eyebrows don’t necessarily have to match your hair colour precisely. You are generally advised to keep your eyebrows one or two shades lighter or darker than your hair colour.

Eyebrow tinting is a lot safer than attempting to dye your eyebrows at home with hair-dye, which is something many women do. Putting any sort of chemical near the eyes is extremely hazardous and inadvisable.

The tint takes only about 5-10 minutes. The tint is likely to stain the skin between the brow hairs initially, making them appear darker in the first day or so than they really are. Eyebrow tint is described as semi-permanent dye not because the colour fades, but because eyebrow hairs have a very short growth cycle.

Eyebrow tint last about 6 weeks. If there are concerns for swelling or skin has sensitivity to certain products, a free patch test is recommended 24 hours prior to tinting.

Eyelash Tint

Eyelash tint is a form of hair dye developed for specific use on the eyelashes. Eyelash tinting produces a similar effect to semi-permanent mascara which stays smudge-free and perfect until you shed your lashes naturally. It visibly lengthens, darkens and thickens the appearance of eyelashes without smudging, clotting or rubbing off. The treatment is quick and safe. People who are allergic to some cosmetics could consider trying eyelash tinting instead. The dye used for the process is usually formulated from vegetable fats for minimum irritation. If you don’t like spending ages perfecting your lashes with the mascara and eyelash combs, an eyelash tint may be the answer. You may decide you don’t even need to use mascara, eliminating any unattractive clumps and freeing up time for other morning activities. For anyone who plays sport, goes to the gym regularly or leads a particularly active lifestyle, looking good can be an on-going struggle. Whether you’re going on a beach holiday and want to enjoy swimming and water-sports without worrying about panda eyes, or if you’re simply curious to see the enhancing effects of darker lashes, then eyelash tinting could be the beauty treatment for you.

The appointment should take no longer than 15 to 20 minutes. The dye will then be carefully applied to both the upper and lower lashes. The dye will be left for around five to 10 minutes in order to sink into the lashes and set. If there are concerns for swelling or skin has sensitivity to certain products, a free patch test is recommended 24 hours prior to tinting.

Although the eyelash tint itself is permanent, the effects will only last as long as the growth cycle of your eyelashes. As each dyed lash reaches the end of its growth cycle it will fall out and cause the darker look of your lashes to gradually fade over time. Your eyelash tint will last around 4-6 weeks, depending on the growth cycle of your lashes.

Eyelash Perm

Regardless of how short or long your eyelashes are, if they don’t naturally sweep upwards then they’re highly likely to look shorter than they really are. Perming straight eyelashes to encourage a gentle curl will give them instant length and create the illusion of bigger, brighter, feminine eyes. An eyelash perm is a face-enhancing beauty treatment designed to give straight eyelashes an attractive upwards curl without the daily need for eyelash curlers. This is a great method of enhancing your eyelashes and your face giving an ‘open eyed’ look.

Anyone with a particularly busy schedule will appreciate the low-maintenance nature of the eyelash perm. This treatment eliminates the need for eyelash curlers for up to six weeks, making the eyelash perm the perfect pre-holiday treat and a popular option for big events like parties, weddings, proms and photo-shoots.

The eyelash perm solution used today contains the active ingredient ammonium thioglycolate, which works by breaking down the hair’s protein bonds to permanently alter the structure of each strand. During this broken-down, receptive state, rollers are used to reshape the hair permanently into curls. No more worrying about the rain and swim as much as you like, this really is waterproof. The final outcome is that your eyelashes will look longer, luscious and curly even when wet.

Are eyelash perms safe? Yes. Eyelash perm solution has been refined over a decade to work consistently and gently on your lashes.

How long does an eyelash perm last? Despite the name, eyelash perms are not permanent. The results of an eyelash perm typically last 6-8 weeks, or the natural growth cycle of the eyelashes.

What should I expect during my eyelash perm? Before your eyelash perm, you will be asked to remove your contact lenses and eye makeup. The eyelashes will then be curled over the rollers using our eyelash perm solution. During your eyelash perm you may lay back and relax.

Can I wear mascara after the perm? Yes.

How long will the eyelash perm appointment take? About 45 – 55 minutes.

Will I lose any of my lashes because of the perm? No.

Can I have my eyelashes permed and tinted in the same appointment? Yes. To keep your lashes beautiful, though, I recommend that you do the perm first, and then tinting.

  • Refrain from getting your eyelashes wet for at least 24 hours after the treatment.
  • Avoid rubbing or touching the eye area as you could irritate the eyes.
  • Don’t spend too long in direct sunlight straight after your treatment, as this could weaken the perm lotion.

 Eyelash Lift

Bored of using eyelash curlers? Fed up of the false look of false lashes? Want a simple, quick, natural way of brightening your eyes and enhancing your face without getting extensions? Eyelash Lift is a revolutionary lash boosting technique promising length, volume and lift for six to eight weeks. Perms are good for curl and eyelash extensions are great for the wow-factor, but for those of you who want to make a real impact with naturally pretty eyes, lash lift is the way to go.

For those of you who prefer a lower-maintenance regime, lash lift is ideal. You can pop to the salon on your lunch break and enjoy beautiful lashes for six to eight weeks without worrying they’re going to fall out unevenly or cause problems. The lift will simply fade away gradually as each lash ends its natural growth cycle and eventually falls out. Eyelash lift can benefit anyone who wants wider, brighter, more feminine eyes.

Eyelash Lift VS. Eyelash Perming

Used as a variation of the lash perm, however instead of curling the lashes, the lashes are lifted from the root and visually lengthened. The fundamental difference between eyelash lift and eyelash perming is that, unlike perming, lash lift doesn’t curl the lashes. Perming loses all-important length during the rolling process, which causes the lash to curve back on itself a little. The revolutionary silicon pad technique used in eyelash lift means the lashes are straightened out and then lifted, without compromising on length.

Will eyelash lift hurt or damage my eyelashes?

This treatment is not painful at all. The whole process is designed to be gentle and relaxing and you should leave the salon feeling confident and feminine with your new-look lashes. Eyelash lift doesn’t curl or frizz your eyelashes; it simply provides a healthy-looking lift.

 3D-10D Volume Eyelash Extensions

3D Eyelash Extensions, also known as Volume or Russian (or 3D, 4D, 5D, 6D, 7D or 8D!) is designed to thicken and lengthen the natural eyelashes. 3D Lashes are ultra-soft and feather light eyelash extensions designed to create a fluffy, high impact, glamorous, full volume look.

Several ultra-lightweight lashes (up to 8 lashes) can be applied to a single natural lash, without damaging the lash, looking “clumpy”, or feeling too heavy and unnatural. When multiple volume lashes are applied, they create a full and natural feather-effect look. It has far superior curl retention to real mink, jet-black from root to tip, possesses a radiant, natural looking sheen and create a subtle natural look.

3D lashes are a sustainable volume eyelash technique developed in Russia that is now spreading to the USA and Europe. The main benefit of 3D Lashes is natural-looking volume and a huge difference to clients with naturally sparse lashes. Another advantage of 3D Lashes is lightness and softness. For a similar effect less weight is used on the lash making them feel lighter and more comfortable.

Before your Appointment:

  • Allow 2 hours for a full set, this may vary according to your client and the amount of natural eyelashes
  • Preferably you should not have makeup or at least no mascara
  • If you wear contact lenses please bring your contact lens case as your lenses will need to be removed.
  • Inform your therapist of any known eye conditions.
  • Do not have your natural lashes permed for 6 weeks prior to appointment

This procedure should not be rushed, avoid technicians who state they can do full sets in 30-60 mins, technicians who do this may not isolate each natural eyelash (express lashes) they may use the express method were they just glue the lashes on top of each other, this will result in a very messy look and will cause damage to your eyelashes.
