Do you have these little white spots that look like whiteheads on your cheeks or even near your eyes? If so, they are called Milia, and these little white blemishes are common on the cheeks and close to the eyes.
The cause of them is trapped dead skin cells that form cysts below the surface of your skin. Your body naturally gets rid of dead skin cells by shedding them to make room for new cells to grow and take their place. When your older skin cells don’t fall off, new skin cells grows on top of them and traps them underneath. That way your dead skin cells harden and turn into these white cysts.
However milia do not need any treatment because they are not harmful. As much as you dontt like them you shouldn’t try to squeeze milia on your own, as you normally would do with a whitehead. This way you could cause the scar on your skin or an infection.

During the procedure, I will use a plasma pen to generate a tiny plasma arc that creates a controlled superficial burn on the skin. This burn causes the targeted area to heat up and evaporate, effectively removing the unwanted milia.
The plasma energy used in the procedure creates a small wound that triggers the skin’s natural healing process. This process stimulates the production of new collagen. This in turn help to improve the appearance of the skin in the treated area.

Procedure

A topical numbing cream is applied to the area and the removal process takes a matter of seconds for each skin tag or milia.
Removing skin tags using the plasma removal procedure offers a complete and permanent removal solution for each individual skin tag or milia. However, it does not prevent new skin tags an milia from forming in the same area. Subsequent removals can be performed in the same area after 6 weeks.
